The Norden Association in Sweden has been in partnership with 'Business Support Bureau Runa' since 1999. We have two partners in Russia - the City of Stockholm's representative office in St. Petersburg and Runa in Arkhangelsk. Together we operate the Swedish answer to the Presidential Initiative on management training ( PMTP) - namely the 'Nordpraktik – New Managers for Russia' Programme.

In 'Nordpraktik - New Managers for Russia' Runa's tasks are marketing of the Programme, recruitment and pre-selection of Russian applicants, organization of selection seminars and training in Swedish for the trainees. Runa is responsible for the programme's activities in the following prioritised regions/republics: Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Arkhangelsk, Murmansk, Karelia, Komi and Vologda.

Besides administrating the Programme, Runa actively participates in the ongoing development of the Programme. Starting from 2003 Runa will also operate a new Business Programme that will offer the Swedish host companies market research, seminars on doing business in Russia and study visits to selected Russian companies.
