IKEA (Sweden) is to construct a woodworking plant for birch sawn timber and furniture shield production. Construction site (40 ha) was already chosen in Ishima.

Currently Swedish colleagues are making a feasibility study. The project is estimated to 10 mln Euro. The woodworking plant (about 300 workplaces) is to process 100-150 thousand cubic meters of sawn timber.
