Export share of round timber and pulp-and-paper products in the first half of 2008 made up 2.5% against 3.9% in 2007.

The first half of 2008 watched decrease in export volume of round log by 22.6%, sawn timber – by 18.6%, plywood – 17.4%, whereas export of wood pulp and newspaper  increased by 6.1% and 15.2% respectively.  

Export share of round timber and pulp-and-paper products in CIS countries reached 4.1%, whereas in the first half of 2007 this indicator made up 5.0%.
