Rostov-based agro-industrial group Yug Rusi has invested 44.8 million USD in its cardboard project on the premises of its subsidiary Donskaya Gofrotara.

There are to be launched two lines for plain board and corrugated board production with the capacity making up 68,000 tons and 144 million sq. m respectively.

The project being realized, Yug Rusi’s total cardboard capacity is to increase four-to-five times, while its corrugated board capacity will double.

According to experts, this is a promising project as current growth of the food processing sector in the South Federal District of Russia far outstrips local cardboard packaging production.
