In January-April 2009 market pulp production decreased by 25.9% and reached 613 thousand tons as compared to the analogous period last year, according to Russian State Statistics Service.

Paper production decreased by 9.5% (1.2 million tons), cardboard production declined by 15.8% (1 million tons), newspaper – by 19.7% (5.6 billion pcs.), magazines – by 28.3% (1.8 billion pcs.), books and brochures – 38.4% (2.6 billion pcs.).
