Republic of Karelia: JSC Kondopoga to increase investment volume by 25%

In 2008 JSC Kondopoga (Republic of Karelia) intends to increase investment volume in equipment modernization by 25% up to 2 bln rubles as compared to 2007. Modernization and reconstruction works completed, the plant is to use waste paper as a raw material for newsprint production.

JSC Kondopoga is a specialized company for newsprint production with registered capital making up 1 bln 604.939 mln rubles. Major shareholders include Ministry of State Property of the Republic of Karelia – 10%, LLC Avangard – 7.5%, LLC Omega – 6.5%, LLC Conrad Jacobson GmbH – 19.35%, CJSC MMB – 15% and LLC Bumazhnik – 13.99%.
