According to Russian State Statistics Service, in January 2009 market pulp production decreased by 32.5% up to 143 thousand tons as compared to January 2008 and by 3.7% as compared to December 2008.

Paper production decreased by 18.9% (283 thousand tons), that of cardboard – by 33.9% (200 thousand tons), newspaper – by 17.1% (1.2 bln pcs), books and brochures – by 42% (530 mln pcs) and magazines – by 23% (388 mln pcs).
